Apply PRC Assam This service is accessible under Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) at DC Office, SDO and Circle Offices. Citizens at Village-level can access the service through CSCs.
This citizen centric service is accessible to the common citizens in his locality through Internet, Common Service Centres “Arunodoy Kendra” and Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) at DC, SDO and Circle Offices. Citizens at Village Level can access the service through CSCs. This certificate is dully digitally signed and can be verified online at http://edistrict.assam.gov.in
Supporting documents required to get Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)
- Passport size photograph. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png format photographs are allowed with max size of 50Kb)
- Records of Immovable Property, if any, with up-to-date Land Revenue Paid receipt. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Copy of Indian Passport or Certified copy of the NRC 1951. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Certified copy of the voters list to check the linkage. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Documents related to parents and forefathers having continuously resided in Assam for a minimum period of 50 years OR Documents related to guardian having continuously resided in Assam for a minimum period of 20 years. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Copy of the Birth Certificate issued by competent authority. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Copy of HSLC Certificate/Admit Card. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Copy of the PRC of any member of the family of the applicant stating relationship, if any. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Employment Certificate issued by the employer showing joining in present place of posting, if any. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Upload Scanned Copy of the Application Form. (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
- Upload One Address proof documents of Self or Parent’s. (Voters Card/Aadhaar Card/Ration Card/Electricity Bill/LPG Bill/Passport/Bank Passbook/Driving License). (Only .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.pdf files are allowed with max size of 500Kb)
